If you are you looking to explore the amazing
Jurassic coastline and Dorset countryside
then Strongate Cottage is the perfect place to stay.

Strongate Cottage is a comfortable, cosy thatched cottage sleeping up to 4 located on a small beef farm near Bridport in West Dorset. The accommodation has two bedrooms upstairs with a modern bathroom and downstairs has a traditional layout with lounge and galley kitchen all of which make Strongate Cottage a real home from home. The pretty cottage garden with flower beds is home to a variety of wildlife with birds aplenty and there is even a large grass area for football and games next to the parking area.

You’ll always receive a warm welcome on arrival from Tess who spent her childhood growing up on the farm.

The Cabin

We also have a static cabin available to hire in our secluded farm orchard which sleeps 4-5 guests in one double bed and two small singles.  Another can sleep on the comfy day settee which doubles as a bed at night. You’ll often find ducks and geese at the cabin door and you’ll certainly feel at one with nature whilst staying with lovely bridleway walks from the doorstep too.

It’s the perfect alternative for families on more of a budget.
